Funny Monday: Cake Wrecks

Gabriele
I thought, I could introduce a new category into my blog. From now on I'd like to start the week with some fun on my blog. Finally, what else could be better for some fun, if not a Monday, especially now in fall and later in winter times?
Thus, if you need something to laugh today... then klick onto that blog!

And this is how I found it:
every morning, when my son leaves the house for school I take a cup of coffee (that's my fuel, you know? I am not able to survive without coffee) and read the news on the computer. One morning I found an article on the "Spiegel" website (Spiegel = famous, gib news magazine). This article was about the "best websites in the net". One of them was this blog: the cake wrecks.

I immediately sticked to that blog... I mean: for hours!
On that page, you`ll mainly find cakes which originally were supposed to look in a different way... hopefully ;-)
You cannot know.. you know? And the best cake-accidents can be seen on this blog. There is nearly any topic covered... and of course you can also find some really well made, beautiful cakes.

The blog comes from the States: hence, it is in English (whoooo who would have thought that!) The texts on the blog are sometimes better than the cakes *gg* I could not stop laughing for more than an hour, HONESTLY! The phrasing is just the "icing on the cake" to speak in the pictures, you know? So.. you obviously know English; therefore this part of my text is a lot shorter than the German one, where I explain the following cake...

This is my favourite: the birthday cake for the boss... having a foto on it.

When reading the article and looking onto the image, I imagined all the time what the customer said when he came in order to pick up the cake? I can not imagine, however, what I'd done, if I'd been this customer *gg*

Here is a beautiful assortment of wedding cakes... the "the ultimate of cake decorating feats". Can be found here. Oh, there are 2 pictures: one of the customer`s wish... and one of the result. Sometimes you cannot really believe, that both belong together, but it is, really!

And... for all the women among us... some men can really be errr yummy...; so what do you think about the ones here? *gg*

Ok... now have a look through the cake wrecks. I am convinced that you`ll find your favourites soon. I for my part... will visit that block regularly. Not only on Mondays!

Wishing you a great week,

Gabriele
