Daily Challenges: Crafty Ribbons

Ohje, irgendwie komme ich mit Blogger nicht so richtig klar oder werde blind: dieser Post sollte schon längst veröffentlicht sein, ist aber irgendwie stecken geblieben. Deshalb heute: Bei Inspirations Blog von Crafty Ribbonslaufen bis zum 03.06. tägliche Events: zum Einen kann man täglich einen Preis gewinnen, zum Anderen gibt es aber tonnenweise Inspiration vom DT: viele unterschiedliche Karten und Techniken, die man sich ansehen kann. Ab und an findet man auch ein Tutorial dabei. Die Preise werden von verschiedenen britischen Shop-Anbietern gesponsort. Heute ist Tag 10, man kann sich aber auch rückwirkend eintragen. Vielleicht hilft mein verspäteter Blog-Post also doch noch ;) Und: Crafty Ribbons hat auch ein Blog, auf dem neben Tutorials auch Challenges angeboten werden.

Ooops, somehow Blogger and me are no real friends or... I am going blind: this post was supposed to be published weeks ago, but got stuck somehow in between. You can find daily events at Inspirations- Blog by Crafty Ribbons until June, 3rd: there are daily chances to win a prize on the one hand, on the other hand, you will find tons of inspiration (several different cards and techniques) and also tutorials there. Prizes are being sponsored by different British shop-owners. Today is day 10, but you can still enter the previous posts / days. Stempelwieses 1. Geburtstag / 1st Birthday at Stempelwiese

Momentan habe ich noch keine neuen Artikel fertig... Irgendwie komme ich nicht zum fotografieren. Wenn ich dran denke, ist es meist schon zu dunkel und die Fotos gefallen mir dann nicht. Deshalb dachte ich, ich gebe mal eine schöne Seite weiter, die ich per Zufall entdecket habe. Auf der Stempelwiese gibt es so viele Ideen, die gerade auf meinem Schreibtisch gelandet sind. Beispiele gefällig? Diese Verpackung für Ferrero Küsschen wird wohl in unserer Verwandtschaft demnächst mal eine Runde drehen. (ok, bei denjenigen, die kein Internet haben) Und Ritter Sport Schachteln sind mit Sicherheit auch sehr gefragt! DIE perfekte Karte jetzt im Winter ist diese Teebeutel-Karte. Wandert auch in meine Ideensammlung. Ach ja... da sich ja gerade tonnenweise Fotos von unserer süßen Enkeltochter ansammeln und ich noch Ideen zum verscrappen suche, kam diese gerade recht! Ich hoffe, ich bekomme das Flip-Book auch so schön hin. Mal sehen. Ok, bevor ich das wichtigste vergesse: Die Stempelwiese feiert ihren 1. Geburtstag! Herzliche Glückwünsche von meiner Seite! I do not have any present blog articles at the moment... I somehow don`t manage to make photos. If I remember to make some, it`s too dark and the photos are not good enough. That`s why I thought I`d give you a link for a really good website I found "by accident" yesterday. There are loads of ideas on Stempelwiese (translation would be "stamping meadow") which are now waiting on my desk to be realized. Wanna have some examples? These boxes for Ferrero sweets will find their way into my relationship. (ok, only into that part without internet) And Ritter Sport Boxes will be great in demand, I`m sure! THE perfect card in winter is this tea-bag card. Already in my inspiration-box. Aaah, and as I am collecting tons of photos with my cutie grand-daughter and looking for suitable ideas how to scrap them...: this idea came just in time! I hope I´ll manage to make a flip-book nearly as good as that one. Let`s wait and see. And not to forget! Stempelwiese has her 1st birthday! Congratulations from my side! Ich stolper immer mal wieder so durch die Blogs... und habe dabei Sandie`s Blog entdeckt. Es macht richtig Spass, sich ihre Karten anzusehen... ich hab mir schon eine Menge Ideen auf ihrem Blog geholt! Guggt einfach mal vorbei! Übrigens: Sandie verlost auch ein Blog Candy bis zum 11. Test - Test - Test

ow... da hab ich doch grade diese Seite hier entdeckt und möchte sie schnell mal mit diesem Post hier ausprobieren. Also quasi ein Test-Post... oder Post-Test ;) Auf der Seite jedenfalls postet die Jessica Hische jeden Tag eine Initiale für Blogs, bzw. Websites. Wirklich sehr schöne Designs sind dabei und ich habe schon stundenlang gestöbert. Vielleicht hilft`s dem ein oder anderen: Viel Spass damit! Edit: ich bastel mal noch ein wenig, damit ich den weißen Rahmen wieder weg bekomme... aber dazu sind Post-Tests ja da.

Wow... just found this site and herewith want to try it out: a post-sample, or a sample-post, whatever ;) Anyway, on that page typographer and illustrator Jessica Hische daily posts one decorative initial which can be used on a blog or website. Really beautiful designs to be found there and I've already spent hours admiring them. Maybe it helps someone: have fun with it! edit: ok, I have to puzzle out how to get rid off the white frame... but hey, that`s the sense of test-posts, isn't it?

Die Post war da! / Post arrived!

Jaaaa, heute hat der Postmann 2mal geklingelt. Ok, es war eine Frau und die war auch nicht von der Post. Aber egal, weil: MEIN PREIS VON CLAUDIS BLOG-CANDY ist angekommen :) Hier ist noch mal der Link zu Claudis Bastelstube Vielen lieben Dank Claudi! Ich habe mich riiiiesig darüber gefreut und es ist nicht ein klitzekleines Teilchen dabei, das ich nicht gebrauchen könnte! Und damit Ihr auch was von meinem Gewinn habt, hier die Fotos. Es war sooo viel im Paket, dass ein Foto gar nicht reichte, zu zeigen, was alles drinne war.

Yeaaaah, today the postman rang twice. Ok, it was, in fact a woman and she definitely does not work for the "German Post". Whatever, because: TODAY MY PRICE FROM CLAUDI`S BLOG-CANDY arrived :) Here the link to Claudi's Blog Thank you sooo much Claudi! I was so thrilled about it and there is no single itsy-bitsy piece which I couldn't make use of. Here are the photos I made, so that you can imagine how happy I was! There were so many items in this packet that one photo was not sufficient to show them all.

On the left you can see 2 paper packets coloured "Cinnamon" and the card, Claudi made for me :) On the right the stamp which was in the packet and which definitely will be used very often.

Das muss ich schnell los werden / Something I just have to say

Da hier zu Hause zur Zeit keiner ist, müsst ihr herhalten... ich will mich nämlich mitteilen! *gg* Diese Woche war bis jetzt ziemlich stressig für mich. Und heute hat sie eine echte Aufwertung erfahren... Erst habe ich heute super schöne Weihnachts-Clear-Stamps ergattert... dann hab ich bereits vor ein paar Tagen schon ein Päckchen für einen Scrapbooking-Austausch erhalten (dazu kann ich momentan noch nicht mehr schreiben, aber Details folgen...) und schließlich hab ich noch erfahren, dass ich ein Blog-Candy gewonnen habe! Und zwar bei Claudi. Juchu, das war mein erstes Blog Candy... und ihr könnt Euch nicht vorstellen, wie sehr ich mich grade freue. Nu hoff ich bloß, dass der Postmann bald 2mal hier klingelt. Das Päckchen, das ich bekommen habe (siehe oben), darf ich nämlich noch nicht auspacken. Ich brauche also dringend Ersatz ;) So, wünsche Euch eine schöne Rest-Woche, liebe Grüße Gabriele

As I am alone here at home at the moment, you have to serve as listeners /readers now; I want to get rid off some info, you know? Up to now, this week has been quite stressful and today it had a kind of upgrading for me *g*. First, I was able to get hold of some christmas clear stamps; a few days ago I received a packet for a scrapbooking-exchange-project I participate in (my first one. I cannot get into detail on this, but will do later on) and finally I read today that I won a blog candy on Claudi's blog! YAY, that was my first blog candy!!! You can not imagine how happy I am! And now I am waiting impatiently until the postman rings twice! The a.m. packet I received has to stay closed for some more weeks, so I urgently need a substitute *gg* Ok, now I wish everybody a great rest of the week! Gabriele

Thank you Karte und Mel Stampz/ Thank you card and Mel Stampz

Ihr kennt das sicher: irgendwie hat man da eine Kartenvorlage, aber weiß nicht so recht, wie man sie fertig stellen soll. So ging es mir bei dieser Karte: vor einigen Wochen hatte ich das Vellum auf den dunkelblauen Karton geklebt und fand das eigentlich richtig gut. Aber dann: Null Idee, was ich sonst noch auf die Karte machen sollte. Sie verschwand also in der Versenkung. Vor einigen Tagen dann habe ich bei Mel super schöne Vorlagen für ein Blumenmotiv gefunden. Das habe ich nun auf dieser Danke-Karte verwendet. Die Buchstaben "thank you" mussten quasi oben auf der Karte landen. Ich glaube, es gibt unzählige Tips, wie man die Klebestellen vom Vellum entweder verbergen oder ganz vermeiden kann... Also mit dem Vermeiden hat es nicht so geklappt *gg* Deshalb habe ich die Buchstaben auf einen Draht gezogen und deshalb kam nur die Platzierung oben in Frage ;-) Mel Stampz ist einer meiner Lieblings-Blogs: man findet Hunderte von tollen Ideen und Inspirationen. Ihre Arbeiten sind einfach wundervoll! Ich könnte stundenlang auf der Seite stöbern (jaja, ich gebe zu: ist mir auch schon passiert). Sie hat viele Templates und Vorlagen auf der Seite, die man nutzen kann. Deshalb hier ein DANKE an Mel: Danke für deinen tollen Blog und vor allem dafür, dass du deine Vorlagen mit anderen teilst!

You'll definitely know this: you somehow have the basis for a card, but are not sure how to finalize it. And this is how I felt about this card: a few weeks ago I adhered the silver vellum onto the darkblue cardboard and basically thought it looked good. But then: absolutely no idea what to add to that. Therefore the card vanished somewhere in one of my drawers. Then, a few days ago I found some great flower images on Mel's site and decided to use one of them on my drawer-card. I had to adhere the letters "thank you" to the top of the card. I think, there are countless tips how to avoid resp. hide the rest of the glue, which shine through the vellum... Ermmm, avoiding did somehow not work *g* Therefore I put the letters onto a wire and therefore the top of the card was the only possible place for them ;-) Mel Stampz is one of my favourite blogs: you will find hundreds of great ideas and inspiration. Her works are just wonderfull! I could spend hours browsing the website (ok, I admit that this happens quite often). She has lots of templates and images on her site for everybody. Therefore here a THANK YOU for Mel: Thank you for your great blog and above all for sharing your ideas/ templates/ links with others!

The Next Level - neues Blog/ new blog

Beim Surfen durch die Welt der Blogs bin ich vorhin auf diese Seite hier gestoßen. The Next Level ist ein neues Blog, das am 01.06. erst offiziell eröffnet wird. Was mich direkt auf den Favoriten-Button zucken ließ, war der Gedanke dahinter: dass nämlich viele Techniken und Inspirationen für alle vorgestellt werden sollen: vom Anfänger bis zum Fortgeschrittenen. Und was ich außerdem super finde: man kann auch Themen-Wünsche einsenden... das ist doch mal eine tolle Idee! Ich bin also schon sehr gespannt und warte auf den 01.06.

Surfing through the blogger world I recently found this page. The Next Level is a new blog, which will officially start on June, 1st. The idea behind this blog made me click onto the favourites-button immediately: they intend to show lots of techniques and inspiration for both, beginners as well as advanced scrappers. And one thing is really great: you are able to send your wishes for future topics. That's indeed a super idea! Hence, I am really curious waiting for the 1st of June to come!
